Valencia is an open city popular with tourists for its privileged climate and delicious cuisine. It invites both citizens and visitors to enjoy its history, its atmosphere, and its wide hospitality range on its terraces, avenues and squares.
The idea for “Terraceo en Valencia” specifically came about from the desire to advertise the selection of food offered by Valencian hotels and restaurants on their urban terraces. It is a campaign organised by Confederación de Hostelería y Turismo de la Comunidad Valenciana (CONHOSTUR) in collaboration with the Agencia Valenciana del Turismo.
“Terraceo en Valencia” offers a selection of some of Valencia’s most enchanting outdoor eating areas, places which have become the best corners and spaces for enjoying fine dining in the open air.
It includes a total of 20 terraces spread around different city zones which stand out for their tourist value (historic centre, Cuidad de las Artes, Alameda, Ruzafa, Plaza Redonda, La Marina, etc.), for their interesting gastronomic proposal with an original atmosphere, fine décor, or unique setting.
Furthermore, from 30th June to 16th July all participating establishments will offers its customers a culinary proposal in the form of a pincho (skewer), tapa (appetizer), dish, or set menu to enjoy on the terrace which will be served along with a Spanish beer: Mahou, San Miguel, or Alhambra.
